Customer relationship management (CRM) applications can be used to organize and track leads through an efficient student enrollment process. Typically CRM software will assign leads, manage tasks, activities, meetings, email and phone correspondence. Lead records are updated when milestones along the enrollment process are met, allowing for detailed reporting and analysis.
Educational institutions often already have a system in place to manage current student data. Sometimes those systems also support CRM functionality at some level. Other times, a separate system designed to more efficiently work the lead to enrollment is utilized.
